The genesis of Ypsilon dates back to 2010 when the founders originally began crafting the foundations of the concept, then known as XLNT, based on vast experience and extensive networks in the world of payments.

Ypsilon builds on over a decade of real-world experience in payment infrastructure, originating from large-scale deployments across events, stadiums, and festivals. From early NFC-based systems to regulated, technology-driven platforms, the focus has remained on
reducing complexity and improving efficiency for organisations managing high-volume transactions.

Following a strategic reset after COVID-19, the business was re-established as Ypsilon Holding in 2022, marking the next phase of this evolution with a renewed focus on scalable, governance-led wallet infrastructure.
Since then, Ypsilon has entered a strong growth phase, gaining support from major companies and banking institutions adopting its technology and expertise, further validating its long-term growth strategy.
